The CRO Blood Transport Container is a single-unit blood transport container featuring a built-in pressure infuser.

USAGE AND RECOMMENDATIONS:

When properly stored and transported in the CRO Blood Transport
Container, whole blood can remain within transport parameters for
up to 8 hours at 40 degrees Celsius ambient temperature using the
provided refrigerant gel pack. The container allows for pressure
infusion of blood at the point of injury without removing blood from
the pocket.
While the product is designed to extend the usable life of whole
blood in the field, it's important to have a mechanism for monitoring
temperature to verify the return of blood to cold chain storage.
We recommend using Saf-T-Vue temperature stickers, which change
color when exceeding transport parameters.
We recommend using the custom Nordic Ice glycol cooling pack
which comes with the product.
