Each case contains 12 individual meals sealed in a waterproof airtight polymer bag, and includes an entree, side dish, crackers or bread, peanut butter or cheese spread, snack, dessert and or candy, and a hot or cold beverage base. They also feature amenities like a long handle spoon, napkins, matches, creamer, sugar, salt, and gum. Some have hot beverages or hot sauce, depending on the meal. Each meal provides around 1200 calories for an active person on the move, and is tailored to provide a good mix of protein, fat, and carbs (13/36/51%) for optimum nutrition. Your MRE has a 2026 Inspection Date.
